OUR POLICY ON ORDERS

When you see something you like on the Product Pages, contact us with the size order, for more information on similar items which are not on display, or for any general information you require. We do not use the 'shopping cart method' for orders as most of our requests are unique. We work with each client individually.

Special Note to Wholesale Requests: Consider everything as wholesale price; our margins are low though the larger the order the better the price.

If you are ordering for Christmas, or other special event, or large bulk orders, always place your order early.

To fill an order, we need your colors/design preference and size of object(s) and your complete, street deliverable, shipping address and phone number.

Payment Methods: We prefer to work with wire transfers and credit cards (mastercharge/visa) though money order purchases are 'ok' but significantly slow the purchase process. Cash, although appreciated, is limited to in-store purchases here in Saltillo. (NOTE: Wire transfers go into an escrow account at our attorney's office in Austin, Texas.)

There is no minimum order requirement but be aware that on smaller orders delivery costs may equal the cost of goods exception being goods already in Texas.

All prices are plus shipping/handling and insurance. We do not make profit on shipping, we pass these costs on.

All charges are $US dollars (USD). Sorry, we can not do COD.

Mexico Artisan Crafts are More Than Toys and Decorative Pieces but also Fine Quality Clothing, Blankets, Tablecloths, Jewelry, Copper and, of Course, Day of the Dead Items

Madera Laqueada - Lacquered Wood

Delivery takes a little longer for special requests. Note, a few items are made specifically on order and are not in inventory - such as large volumes of baskets; and some items are available in limited production - such as larger lacquer furniture items; and some items have a waiting list - such as the Temoaya rugs.

For items with a waiting list, remember that with the exception of some glass and pottery items, all which we offer are produced in small shops by individual craftsmen and they simply are not financially capable of carrying their own large inventory.

If you are flexible in product design, we fill orders immediately as with toys, textiles, pottery, glass, etc. If you wish a specific design of an item, it will have to be custom made as artisan shops are small and they pretty much produce what their design instincts tell them.

Complete Lines of Decorative and Functional Household Pottery and Dinnerware Sets
Barro Negro Pottery - Black Clay Pottery
Furniture, Textiles, Glass, Baskets, Everything

Equipales - Armchairs

When we say we go directly to the artisan's shop for our products, we ain't kidding; it is rewarding because of the privilege of working with traditional art though sometimes it is frustrating because of the lack of production volume available. We hope you understand we are doing our best to preserve traditions by marketing these artisan handicraft items and that we only select the best in quality and in design.

Artists in the broadest sense of the word, Mexican craftsmen are not merely repeating motions when they make a piece as each piece shows the stamp of individual sensitivity. In the privacy of a workshop or in the back of the house or sitting on the patio, every single day, all over the country, men and women of all ages change matter into beautiful art pieces and useful household objects that embellish their surroundings and we make these goods available to you through our contacts.

If you do not see it, ask us, impossible to show everything. Thank you for visiting our web pages and if you do come to Saltillo, please visit us at our very nice
Hotel Hacienda Rancho El Morillo.
