Our Visit to Majolica/Alta Temperatura Warehouse

(Above Photo) Ana making arrangements with owner of factory. Being a larger operator, this location is a quality control and shipping/distribution center. And they tend to make over-runs of major orders so their inventory is usually well stocked which is nice for smaller and mixed orders. Note the variety of wall macetas (planters) in all photos. (back to Maceta page) (Right Top/Bottom Photos) Stoneware (Alta Temperatura) pieces on top shelf and Majolica pieces on lower shelves.

(Above Right) Ana reviewing designs of Stoneware Vajillas (dinner place settings). Vajillas from this factory are called Alta Temperatura Ceramica (Stoneware) because of their characteristic of very high temperature firing which imparts the pieces with oven and microwave and dishwasher proof qualities. All Vajillas today are lead free and very durable. (to Vajilla page)
